Gathering traditions

 

Start up of a gathering

 

All the people sit in a circle in any order. Starting from the highest rank pass the chalice clockwise (wine or mead)

reciting:

 

As are you , so am I.

 

This shows that we all are equal.

 

When the circle is completed recite the following:

 

Balance of the chalice and of the blade,

Long live the Phoenixian Knights

 

When the meeting is over the same ceremony is conducted.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

First Degree Initiation:

 

the rest of the people form a circle around the student and the teacher.

 

Light the candles in the 4 corners of the world, light and pass dragons blood incense in a clock wise fashion around the circle

 

You stand before your teacher and or leader.

Teachers places star necklace around the neck

 

I Declare you a First Degree,

 

Rise my brother/sister and greet your equals

 

 

At this point the student goes around shaking hands and hugs,

the people congratulate the student .

 

Snuff the candles and close the circle it is done.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Second Degree Initiation:

 

the rest of the people form a circle around the student and the teacher.

Third Degree Initiation:

 

this can only be declared by the chancellor and high council.

Light the candles in the 4 corners of the world, light and pass dragons blood incense in a clock wise fashion around the circle

The Ceremonies Sword is given to the Chancellor by the high council.

 

The bell is Rung 3 times one second apart.

Priesting Ceremony

Items required:
Chalice of wine or alcohol (if complication with alcohol substitute with grape juice)
Anointing oil – usually dragon blood but substitute plausible
Candles – Purple and 

Placement:
Both High Priest and High Priestess stand side by side in front of the altar while person becoming priest/priestess stands before the High Priest and Priestess.

Ceremony:
-Call and erect Watch Towers circle using anointing oil
-After the circle is cast take the oil and anoint:
  High Priest or Priestess (coven leader or eldest/more experienced of rank):
   Open palms: “May your hands hold and touch the Truth,”
   Lips: “May your lips speak the Truth,”
   Eyes lids: “May your eyes seek and see the Truth,”
   Ears: “May your ears listen and hear the Truth,”
   Forehead/Third Eye: “May your mind think and know the Truth.”

  High Priest/Priestess:
   “Strive for these things that may grow and help others to grow in the Love and       Wisdom of the source of creation. For Wisdom is power and pure wisdom is       pure power; so use {this knowledge}* wisely and {with}** great care.”

  “I now pronounce and promote you,__________________, to the rank of       Priest/Priestess.”

 -High Priest and Priestess drink from chalice then the newly promoted Priest/Priestess.
-Close the circle
-Begin the feast








 

Conjuration of the sword

The Conjuration of the sword is used to consecrate your sword or athame or both before use in any spell. This is a one time operation and doesn't need to be repeated as long as its in your control.

Place the sword on the alter center of 5 red candles star layout while pushing energy to the blade reciting the falling out loud.
